A familiar pattern.

Joey Gallo connects for a three-run homer in the eighth but it wasn’t enough as the Rangers lost 6-5.

Well, so much for getting to .500.

The Rangers first got to .500 on April 7 when they won to go 3-3. They proceeded to lose their next four games.

They got close again when they were 9-10 after a win on April 21. They proceeded to lose their next four games.

Then last Sunday they got back to .500 after a win put them at 18-18.

Then they proceeded to lose the next five games.

There seems to be a pattern developing here. And it’s not particularly pleasant. Once they start getting above water, they immediately sink again.
