How many times have fans heard that phrase uttered? That is usually the precursor to a long, extended stay on the disabled list, just like, We have no intention of changing managers at this time, is, in every case, followed soon by a managerial firing.

Just like last spring Adrian Beltre’s leg injury was not considered serious before he missed the first two months of the season. Same with Cole Hamels’s tightness in the oblique. It was not considered serious before he, too, missed two months of the season.

It will be interesting to see how much time Matt Moore misses.
