Evan Carter didn’t make the opening day roster. Jack Leiter and Kumar Rocker did. 

Ezekiel Duran made the opening day roster. The bullpen is Chris Martin, Robert Garcia, Luke Jackson, Jacob Webb, Shawn Armstrong, Hoby Milner, Marc Church, and Gerson Garabito.

The rotation appears to be Nathan Eovaldi, Jacob deGrom, Tyler Mahle, Leiter, and Rocker.

Of course, no Rangers season is complete without an injury scare to Josh Jung and Corey Seager, both of whom sat out yesterday’s final spring training game nursing nagging injuries—Jung with a stiff neck, Seager with a sore calf. Both are expected to be ready for opening day. The question is, expected by who? Certainly not Rangers fans who have seen this movie more often that It’s A Wonderful Life plays at Christmas time.

It’s a long season. Injuries are going to happen. The Rangers have already suffered two major injuries to their rotation. Can they avoid the same fate with their bats?

Let’s hope so.
