Game 3 matchup.   Recently updated !

After a day of travel, the World Series resumes with Game 3 tonight in Los Angeles.

Forty-year-old Max Scherzer will get the start for Toronto against Los Angeles’s Tyler Glasnow. On paper, this one favors the Dodgers.

Scherzer made seventeen starts this year, winning five, losing five, with a 5.19 ERA. Glasnow made eighteen starts, winning four and losing three, with a 3.19 ERA.

The six-foot, eight-inch lefty has been dominating in this postseason, having earned a W against the Phillies with zero earned runs in 7.2 innings, then another W against the Brewers with one earned run in 5.2 innings. Scherzer earned a W in his only postseason start, Game 4 against the Mariners.

Enough talk, though. Let’s play the game.
