With three weeks to go before opening day, the Rangers are having a really strong spring training. At 9-5, they have the second-best record in the Cactus League.

But their success has mostly been built on the backs of players who won’t be in a Rangers uniform come March 26.

The players the Rangers are counting on haven’t, for the most part, shown up. Here are the averages and OPSs for the projected Rangers starters. Warning, this list is not for the squeamish.

Of course, spring stats are challenging. But while the Rangers offense is scoring a lot of runs, it’s just not coming from the people you’d expect it to be coming from.

Hopefully when the time comes, the offense shows up.
