I always thought there was an inner competition between Joey Gallo and his two friends growing up.

Kris Bryant and Bryce Harper, both have already won MVPs. Gallo, on the other hand, had not a successful major league hitter. It had to gnaw at him. It did.

It seems, for the first time in his career, Gallo will be coming into the season with confidence. That should be a scary thing for pitchers.
