Happy Thanksgiving.

We want to wish everyone in RR3 Nation a happy Thanksgiving.

While as Rangers fans we didn’t have a lot to be thankful for in 2024, on a personal level I had much to be grateful for.

First and foremost, I beat cancer. I went on on May 9 for what I thought was routine surgery to remove a saliva stone that had caused a lump inside my mouth on my right cheek.

Turns out it was a half-dollar sized cancerous tissue mass. I had surgery May 29 to remove that. Six weeks of radiation, five days a week, wiped me out but it also wiped out all the cancer in my cheek and I am officially cancer free.

For that I am truly thankful. And I am truly grateful for all the Rangers fans who post here regularly. I really appreciate the support and friendship as we try our best to will the Rangers into another World Series title.

Thanks to you, thanks to my doctors, thanks to my family.

Mostly, I am thankful I caught my cancer early. If you have any weird lumps or pains, do NOT delay getting it checked out. My cancer was highly aggressive. Had I waited, the outcome may not have been as favorable.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
