That’s four in a row. The Rangers matched their longest winning streak of the season with a 4-1 win over the Rockies.
While it’s always nice to get a win, it almost seems shameful celebrating it over the Rockies, an embarrassing mess of a team that has now fallen to 2-19 on the road.
But a win is a win, and too many teams took advantage of the Rangers embarrassing mess of an offense earlier, so it’s all fair game.
To say the Rangers won 4-1 is a bit misleading. Josh Jung won it 4-1. He hit a three-run homer and a solo shot, accounting for all four runs batted in.
If Jung keeps hitting like this, he will make Rangers fans forget about Leody Taveras.
