There’s a lot of conjecture about what happens to Jurickson Profar once Rougned Odor comes back from suspension on Saturday. When Odor comes back they have two choices with Profar. 1) Keep him and bench him.  2) Send him back to Triple-A and play him. According to T. R. Sullivan, the Rangers want Profar playing regularly to make up for lost time, so it appears he is going to Triple-A.

Also according to Sullivan, Shin-Soo Choo is heading to Surprise to continue rehab. He will DH in extended spring training games today and Saturday, then play outfield on Monday. If all goes well, they should be sending him to Triple-A to see if he can play consecutive nine-inning games.

It’s odd that there has been no word at all on A. J. Griffin. No news of resuming throwing. No news of rehab assignments. No news of anything at all. That can’t be good.

Shawn Tolleson is expected back in a Rangers uniform Friday for the Seattle series. That means someone must go. I am guessing it’s Luke Jackson.

And finally, on very rare occasions, fans here discuss pitching. Since May team leaders in offense were posted here yesterday, today it’s time to post the Rangers team leaders for pitching in May.
