Leody Taveras continues to struggle in spring.
Evan Carter continues to show he cannot hit lefties in spring. He’s not tearing it up against righties either.
Alejandro Osuna continues to hit the ball hard every at-bat he gets in spring. He had one at-bat in yesterday’s 3-2 loss to Seattle and hit an eighth-inning double, raising his batting average to .448 and his OPS to 1.300.
Spring stats are deceiving. But that’s all you can go on by comparison. And Osuna is the brightest star in Rangers camp.
It would be a shame if he doesn’t make the opening day roster. Heck, the way he’s hitting, he should be the starting centerfielder.
