Some days it’s the offense. Some days it the pitching. And, when things are not going well, some days it’s the defense.

Yesterday it was the defense.

The Guardians scored their first run thanks to a throwing error by Cody Bradford in the first.  Of course, Adolis Garcia starts off the second by getting on via a throwing error. He gets picked off and the Rangers don’t score. 

With the Rangers losing 2-1 heading into the seventh, Jose Leclerc’s throwing error on a pickoff attempt scored the third Guardians run. 

Two throwing errors. Two unearned runs. The Rangers lose by two.

The freefall of 2024 continues.
