It is with profound sadness that Rangers Rounding 3rd announces unpleasant news.

The 2024 Texas Rangers have been eliminated from the American League West division race.

After yesterday’s dismal 4-0 loss in which the Rangers were able to amass just two lousy singles, they are now ten games out of first place with nine games to go. 

Even though it’s a forgone conclusion that they will win the next nine games in a row and the Astros will lose their next nine, the Rangers will, sadly, end up one game behind them.

We know this news comes as a shock to most of you, so please take a moment to gain your composure, maybe take a seat to prevent fainting.

Please don’t shoot the messenger. We hated being the one who had to break the news. 

The 2024 Texas Rangers are not going to the playoffs.
