Smith gets start in center.

The Swiss Army knife of players started a game yesterday in centerfield.

It seems Josh Smith is going to play all over the field. Literally. His first start in spring was at third. Yesterday, in center, just a day after the Rangers acquired Kevin Pillar to play center.

You can never have too many centerfielders. Even though you can have only at a time per game.

Smith went 2-for-3, scoring two runs—both in the Rangers nine-run first inning. Sure, it was against the White Sox. Even so, it seems center suits him well.
