Toronto’s tariff-ic Game 3.

Vlad Guerrero Jr continued his torrid post season, going 4-for-4 in Game 3, to raise his playoff average to .464,

It appears Toronto is getting even for those tariffs. They crossed the border into the United States, and their offense came alive.

After their MLB-best offense was held to just four runs in the first two game, they broke out for thirteen in Game 3, jumping on every Mariners pitcher like they were Luke Jackson. One of them actually was.

The Mariners jumped out to a two-games-to-none lead in the series, and a 2-0 lead in the game, and looked to be in the driver’s seat. Then, Toronto came up to bat in the third. Their offense kicked in. Finally, for them.

A double and a home run tied it at two each. A wild pitch with bases leaded put Toronto up 3-2. That was followed by the knockout blow, a two-run double making it 5-2. A couple home runs the next two innings, it was 7-2. A few singles strung together made it 8-2. A four-run sixth made it 12-2.

The gamed ended 13-4, with Toronto picking up eighteen hits, including five home runs.

So now, the road team has won all three games of this series. After having lost the first two games at home, this was a must win for Toronto.

They won big. They’re hoping to tax Seattle’s pitching staff again in Game 4 to even the series.
