An Adolis Garcia RBI double in the fourth is all the offense the Rangers could find.

With last night’s 4-1 loss to the Angels, the 2022 Texas Rangers lost their ninetieth game. That makes three of the past five seasons with ninety or more losses, and it would have been four of five had it not been for the pandemic-shortened 2020 season.

The Rangers of 2000 through 2003 had three ninety-loss seasons in a four-year span. Same from 1984 to 1988.

All you can do is ride it out and wait for the next wave of winning baseball, whenever that will be.
