The Rangers get ready to face the Astros for three games that might have at one time meant something but now will determine how far out they will be respectability before the All-Star break. They beat the Angels last night to split a four-game series they would have won. But, should have won is the slogan for this year’s Rangers teams.

In fact, MLB.com published its mid-season report cards on al thirty teams.

The Rangers got a D+. Seems fair.

While it’s hard to swallow, it’s also hard to argue with the fact that 2023 night have been the fluke year in the string of losing seasons, but that’s what it is shaping up to be.
