Perfect imperfect game.

Complete highlights from last night’s game.

Twenty-seven batters up. Twenty-seven batters down. That’s a perfect game.

Oakland laid the next worst thing at the feet of the Rangers last night. Two soft hits. Both immediately erased. One by a double play. One by being picked off.

A two-hit perfect game. Twenty-seven batters total. An 8-0 loss.

And the Rangers go meekly into the night with the most pitiful loss of the season.

If there was ever a game that exemplified how bad this team really is offensively, it was last night. They have no firepower. Nobody in that lineup is feared as a hitter. The only reason anyone would pitch around a Rangers hitter is because the next one is even easier to get out.

If anyone asks when the Rangers hit rock bottom, you can point to Friday, September 20, in Oakland.
