You knew it was going to be a typical Rangers offensive struggle when they scored their first run on a strikeout. Well, technically, a dropped third strike and throwing error. What wasn’t typical was how they scored their next three: after two outs. But it happened. It usually doesn’t happen, but it did.
Both Ezekiel Duran and Wyatt Langford struck out. Then Rangers sparkplug Cody Freeman singled, scored on a Josh Jung double, who scored on a Jake Burger homer.
Now, Milwaukee comes to Texas for three, while Seattle goes to St Louis for three, with a-game-and-a-half still separating them.
