Rangers outfielders made two spectacular plays yesterday, beating the Phillies outfield fielders in spectacular plays. If the score of games was determined by spectacular plays, the Rangers would have won 2-0.
Unfortunately, for the last few years, games are determined by how more many times one team’s players touch home plate than the other team’s players. And, one of those teams is comprised of Texas Rangers hitters, and in the three games the Rangers played against the Philadelphia Phillies, they were able to touch the plate just five times.
But they made a lot of spectacular plays. If only that mattered.
