Even though he wants to be a two-way player, he is respectful enough of the system that he acknowledges it’s not up to him.

If this is any indication, it seems earlier reports that he is demanding to play both ways seem to be false. He just wants to come to the U.S. and play with the best of the best, wherever it leads him, even if that means making a lot less than he could make if he waited a few more seasons.
