Evan Grant has an article in today’s Dallas Morning News about an amazing new baseball complex the Rangers are opening in west Dallas to bring baseball, and, as Grant says, “hopefully a little life guidance” to an underserved community.

The ribbon cutting ceremony is Tuesday. The baseball facility is remarkable. A state-of-the-art spring training complex, five outdoor fields, the new home fields for Pinkston and Sunset High Schools, a full-sized indoor field, weight room, and so much more.

It’s an awesome gift to the city from the Rangers and Clayton Kershaw.
