Really? Miles Mikolas? $15.5 million for two years? Miles Bleeeping Mikolas? What the heck?

Mikolas last played in the major leagues in 2014, when he started ten games for the Rangers with an ERA of 6.44. He was not good. He was banished to Japan.

And now he comes back to the U.S. and the Cardinals drop nearly eight million dollars a year on him and have given him a place in their rotation?

Never think there isn’t enough money in this sport. If there is $15.5 million to pay for Miles Mikolas, there is enough money to go around for everyone.
