Joey Gallo belts his 29th home run, and fourth in the last three games, to drive in three runs, which was the difference-maker in a 4-1 Rangers win over the Twins.

Day three After Darvish, and the Rangers are having one of their best runs of the year, going 2-1 in those three Darvishless games.

Last night, A. J. Griffin came off the D.L. and absolutely dominated, giving up just two hits and one run in six innings, to improve to 5-2 on the year.

With the win the Rangers are now four games under .500, a position they have been in only ten times this season.

If the Rangers can keep up this incredible post-Darvish pace, they would win 36 of their next 54 games, good for 88 wins, and a probably wild card slot.

All the Rangers have to do is win two out of every three games they play from here on out. Without Yu Darvish.

They’re off to a great start.
