Astros tie Series.

You can’t keep a good Bregman down: Alex Bregman, coming into Game 4 batting 1-for-13, crushes a grand slam in the top of the seventh to put the game away.

After dropping two World Series games in a row, is it panic time for the Washington Nationals?

No.

Has the momentum shifted to the Astros?

No.

You’re never out of it when your next two pitchers are Max Scherzer and Stephen Stasburg. Never mind that the Astros next two are Garrit Cole and Justin Verlander.

Scherzer and Stasburg have already beaten the Astros. Cole and Verlander have already lost to the Nationals.

Game 5s are always important. One team takes that critical lead and is one game away from winning it all.

Even if the Astros win, Game 6 will have Stasburg, who carries with him the second-best post-season ERA of all time, against Verlander, who has never won a World Series game.

There’s that old baseball axiom that momentum is only as good as today’s starting pitcher.

Cole. Scherzer. Flip a coin. There’s no momentum. Only someone getting ahold of a mistake. From which pitcher? Can’t wait to find out.
