Someone switched on the power last night.
Nate Lowe hit two. Ronald Guzman hit one. Jonah Heim hit one.
It seems like the new ballpark isn’t quite as cavernous as the Rangers thought last season.
This offense has so much potential and for four of the first five games, they have proven it. They collected eleven hits total, good for seven runs.
They played errorless ball.
Combine that with five dominating innings from new starter Dane Dunning—six strikeouts, no walks—and last night’s game was as good you can expect.
The losses may be greater than the wins this season, but the excitement will be greater than the recent past. And you can’t ask for more.
Other than a playoff team, year after year.
But who are we? The Dodgers? Or the Cardinals? Or the Rays? Or the Twins? Or the Athletics? Or the Yankees? Or the Nationals?
