During a baseball season, this is an easy blog to maintain. Just watch what is happening and comment on it.
During the off-season, not so easy. But at least there was always a light at the end of the tunnel. Now, there is no light. Only an endless tunnel. And, unlike an offseason, there aren’t potential trades to talk about or potential free agents to muse over.
There is nothing. And there won’t be anything for a long while. More and more I am losing my hope that there will be any baseball at all until 2021.
It’s important to keep this site going because it gives people something to do, somewhere to go who are stuck inside, people who have grown to be friends over the years over their shared love of the Texas Rangers and baseball.
I took over this site midway through the 2014 season. It’s hard to believe that it’s been six and a half years worth of nonsense. But that just means six and a half years worth of stockpiled articles. So, starting tomorrow and going forward, I am going to start posting an article from the archives of whichever date it is. The future of Rangers will unfold in the past.
Stay safe. Stay home. Stay sane.
