It’s always good to win any time you can. It’s the opposite of losing, as a matter of fact.

But a lot of people over a lot of sites across this vast Internet thing are already talking about print World Series tickets for the Rangers after their dominating 5-1 start to the spring.

A little perspective.

Spring standings seem to have no reflection on what the team will do that year. Take a look:

It would be amazing if this dominance continued. Wonderful. Giddy-inspring. But just last year the Rangers finished over .500 in spring. You might recall they finished under .500 during the regular season.

Way under .500. Way way way way under.

So, don’t get hopes up too high. None of this matters until April 8 in Toronto.

In the meantime, win away, Rangers.
