Nomar Mazara never materialized. He is currently unemployed after having been released by the White Sox after one very lackluster year. Lewis Brinson has never figured it out. He is languishing in the Miami Marlins system. Bubba Thompson is stuck in the minor leagues. Jake Skole was a first-round pick in 2010 and never poked his head above Double-A.

Maybe Chris Young can help change the trajectory of Rangers draft success. The bar is low.
