The post-season gets underway today with the American League wild card game, at 8:00 on ESPN.

The Twins take on the Yankees, their playoff kryptonite. In a scenario reminiscent of the Rangers earlier playoff struggles, Minnesota cannot get past New York, having lost five straight Division Series, four to the Yankees.

New York is a huge favorite again tonight.

Eventually the Rangers beat the Yankees. Maybe this is the year the Twins finally do.
