Tom Petty sings, “The waiting is the hardest part.” He was so right.

Since both Championship Series ended early, there are a way too many off days until the World Series, which starts Friday night in Houston.

The waiting is hard. It certainly takes the steam out of the momentum the playoffs generated.

But it will be a good series in one regard. You have a team in Houston that does not seem to know how to lose. And you have a team in Philadelphia that seems to do everything right to win.

One of those forces has to give.

My prediction (which means there is no way possible it will happen), the Astros sweep. Their cannot lose force seems more powerful than the Phillies must win force.

We shall see.
