After three surgeries, Josh Hamilton’s left knee gave out again.

It was supposed to be a joke.  The first injury of the spring was so predictable.

Last week I posted:

9:00, First full squad work out.
9:01,  Josh Hamilton injured, lost for the season.

Yesterday, Josh Hamilton went down with an injured left knee after doing running drills. He is flying back to Dallas to have it examined. If he is, indeed, lost, it will be for more than the season. It will be the end of the road for Hamilton.

That will be a shame. It would have been nice to have that magic back. Mainly because it would have been such a benefit to the Rangers.

Soon we will find out if Josh Hamilton’s career is officially over.

It’s not a joke to Hamilton.
