Home field advantage. 156 comments

Once Yu Darvish returns to the Rangers' rotation, he will have hundreds of eyes on his every pitch, every gesture, every expression. If he goes down again, so do the Rangers World Series hopes.

The Rangers now have home field advantage in the World Series. That was the easy part.

The hard part will be getting there. Not that I don’t think the Rangers have the team to do it. It’s just that, right now the Rangers don’t have the team to do it.

They are close. Just two quality starting pitchers away. And maybe one reliever. But definitely two quality starting pitchers.

If the Rangers get a break, one of those might be Yu Darvish.

The two weeks coming out of the All-Star break are going to be huge. Not just in how the Rangers rebound after twelve games of being pummeled into Oaklandness. The real spectator sport is going to be seeing what Jon Daniels does to patch the gaping holes caused by failing to develop arms on his own by the trade deadline.

Tomatoes are much cheaper when you grown them in your own garden than when you buy them at the super market, that’s why is important to learn to have a good garden, which you can learn from sites online that show you how to have your ideal garden. Unfortunately, when it comes to pitching, Daniels doesn’t have a green thumb. So he is going to have to get out his prospects debit card.

Can’t wait to see which pitchers he brings home. Because that is the only chance the Rangers have of bringing the World Series back home.
