Adrian Beltre signs for two more years. 493 comments

A lot of Rangers pitchers watched a lot of Orioles hits leave the ballpark last night. This was one of them.

A lot of Rangers pitchers watched a lot of Orioles hits leave the ballpark last night. This was one of them.

Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre signed a contract extension that will keep the face of the franchise in Arlington for two more seasons after this year.

There couldn’t have beenĀ better news yesterday.

Then the game started.

The Rangers hit their second home run last night at the Ballpark this season.

Mark Trumbo hit two in one inning.

By the time Trumbo hit his second homer in the seventh inning, the Rangers had allowed nine runs.

So far.

The inning still may be going on.

Curfew laws dictated that everyone had to evacuate the Ballpark by two o’clock a.m. There were still bases loaded and one out.

The Orioles may still be scoring runs. Check back later for updates.
