The Rangers posted an ad trying to get everyone excited for the upcoming 2020 season. In it, they are touting a lot of new:

New year.
New decade.
New ballpark.
New uniforms.
New faces.
New beginnings.
Here’s to 2020 being a year we never forget.

In the spirit of truth in advertising, perhaps a slight re-write is in order.

New year.
New decade.
New ballpark.
New uniforms.
New faces.
New beginnings.
Same infield that ranked 27th in baseball.
Same outfield minus All-Star Hunter Pence.
Same catchers that ranked 29th in baseball.
Same bullpen that ranked 11th in the American League
New ticket prices.
Here’s to 2020 being a year we won’t remember like 2019. Or 2018. Or 2017. Or 2014.

As of right now, that seems more accurate.
