Yesterday, Will Leitch of MLB.com named his one bounce-back player for 2020 from every team. It’s who had a bad 2019 that he predicts is ripe for a better 2020, with a short summation of why he was chosen.

His pick for the Rangers?

Rougned Odor.

His rationale: “No, this is the year he puts it all together. No, this is the year he puts it all together. No, THIS is the year he puts it all together.”

Leitch tapped into the pain and agony of the three-year ordeal of Rangers fan’s waiting for the year Odor finally does something. 

We thought it would happen in 2017. It didn’t. We thought it would happen in 2018. It didn’t. We thought it would happen in 2019.  It didn’t.

So, will it happen in 2020? If you keep ramming your head against the brick wall, eventually the wall will break, right?
