Adrian Beltre, the Rangers hitting machine, went 2-for-2 in his spring debut.

The Rangers scored the tying and winning runs yesterday in the eighth inning without benefit of a hit.

After a walk and a double, a ground out scored run number four. Then a sac fly scored run number five.

Execution is something that is always welcome. This spring the Rangers have been sieves when it comes to defense. So maybe they can solve the situational hitting at least.

Because they are going to need all the runs they can get.
