Mr Clutch.

Adolis Garcia watches his walk-off home run.

That’s what Adolis Garcia does. He has a knack for hitting a home run when his team really needs it.

His first home run of the season came on opening day. It tied the game 8-8.

His second home run was a two-run shot against the Angels. It tied the game 3-3.

His third home run tied the game at 1-1.

His fifth home run of the season put the Rangers ahead for good in a game against the Red Sox. He hit one more that game just for good measure.

He homered to break a 0-0 tie in a game against Seattle, a three-run shot, in a game the Rangers won 3-2.

His home run in the first game of this Washington series tied the game 1-1.

Then, there was yesterday. Leading off the bottom of the ninth in a 2-2 tie, Adolis crushed a pitch into deep left center field stands, sending the Rangers home with a 3-2 victory.

Garcia is like FedEx. When it absolutely positive has to be delivered, he comes through.
