Shameless self-promotion.

I’m proud to announce the release of the album “Little Holes” by The Four Baggers.

Who the heck are The Four Baggers? And what does this have to do with Rangers Rounding 3rd?

You may know them. It’s me and fellow Rangers Rounding 3rd poster Eli Saenz. You remember Eli? Back when he was in high school, he used to regularly post here on Rangers Rounding 3rd. His passion was infectious. Joey Gallo was going to hit 100 home runs. Miles Mikolas was going to win the Cy Young. The Rangers were going to win the World Series. His last prediction came true.

Anyway, Eli went on to form a band called Housecall. He reached out to me one day with a link to a video of a song called “Mystery Girl.” It was an infectiously great pop song. The kind of song that sticks to the roof of your head. I’ve seen his band play a few times. A lot of energy and good vibes.

About a year ago, I asked him if he’d help me with a song I had written for my new grandson, since I don’t play an instrument. It was a wonderful collaboration. He asked if I had any more songs. Over the course of the past year, Eli and I have been writing two or three songs a month. We have about eighteen songs. So, we decided to put out an album featuring ten of them.

I do the singing. Eli plays all the instruments. Let me tell you something, that kid is amazingly talented. Please give it a listen. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

It’s available on Spotify, AppleMusic, and YouTube Music. Here’s a link to it on YouTube.

Enjoy.
