“Hello, darkness my old friend…”

The dog days of the offseason are upon us. 

Nothing is happening. At least nothing outwardly. Millions of phone calls and emails and texts are going out to agents and other GMs. But we mere mortals aren’t privy to that.

Someone on MLB Network Radio yesterday described the offseason as “it’s like reporting on games you can’t even see.” 

That’s a pretty good description of it. 

Set the alarm for opening day of 2020 and wake me up when it gets here.
