For the first time in our lifetimes, Rangers fans can be thankful for the Rangers winning it all.

There were so many bleak years. So many Rougned Odors and Tanner Scheppers and Mark Clarks and Chan Ho Parks. But those have faded into the past and Rangers fans can finally be thankful for backing the best team in baseball.

On a personal note, I continue to be thankful to everyone who visits Rangers Rounding 3rd, especially to everyone who contributes posts. This is truly a labor of love and I really appreciate everyone who has come along for the ride.

I will admit the three seasons prior to this year made me question why I am doing this. Really, the six prior. The first few years in darkness you expect the sun to rise. Then it doesn’t and you wonder if it ever will. And, why are you still flailing around in the dark?

But, then, surprises happen.
